Dr Candice Norris completed a Bachelor of Journalism 2004 and Bachelor of Physiotherapy 2007 University of Queensland. She graduated medicine 2013 at University of Notre Dame, Darlinghurst. She completed her Intern and residency at Tweed Heads Hospital as well as a Senior residency year and junior ED PHO year at Royal Darwin Hospital. She was also a PHO Launceston Hospital 2018.
She enlisted in the Australian Army (Royal Australian Army Medical Corp) in 2019 posted to Gallipoli Barracks, Brisbane. She joined ACEM as an Emergency trainee in 2020 and have been part time training at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital
