Lita Olsson is a Clinical Nurse Consultant, and has been nursing since 2004 in both the private and public sector. Lita brings over 12 years of nursing in Emergency at the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital. In 2012, Lita identified significant increases in Occupational Violence and began collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to promote a safe working environment and challenge the existing safety culture. Lita has presented in Parliament as a Clinical Expert in relation to Alcohol-Fuelled Violence, and attended the campaign launch for Violence Against Healthcare workers and the Qld Ambulance Service, alongside the Health Minister. Lita is currently the Clinical Lead for QOVSU, providing strategic oversight and clinical expertise to the implementation of a range of initiatives to reduce Occupational Violence.
