Khairil Musa is an Intensive Care Registrar working at Royal North Shore Hospital. A chocolate milk connoisseur, Khairil combines his fondness for trauma and cardiac intensive care with far too much time spent searching for the best falafel in Sydney. Outside of the ICU, Khairil is a great enthusiast of the performing arts, first nurturing his love for music as a Soul and Blues vocalist to then train in classical ballet and contemporary dance. Khairil has been responsible for the artistic direction of the SMACC Opening Ceremonies since DAS SMACC and was a featured dancer in the final SMACC conference in Sydney. Khairil is passionate about mentoring junior doctors and hopes to inspire in others the importance of self-care and nurturing non work-related interests.
