
Dr Melanie Rule is an Emergency Physician working in both the Adult and Children’s Emergency Departments at The Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane. She is an enthusiastic medical educator with a passion for teaching the hidden curriculum in medicine, including mentoring, leadership, teamwork and physician wellbeing. She is a strong supporter of mentoring and is a member of the Mentoring Reference Group at the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM). Her interest in physician wellbeing has developed through her own struggle to balance the demands of a busy career, a young family and an active lifestyle. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, hiking, mountain biking and travel.
