Dr Melissa Parsons is currently an Assistant Residency Director at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. Melissa completed her Emergency Medicine residency at the UFJax. Her professional interests include simulation, medical education, physician wellness, physician infertility and women in medicine. She is co-founder of http://www.sheMD.org – an online platform for pre-med and medical students discussing gender equity and being a woman in medicine. Her other hobbies include fishing, hunting, lobstering and CrossFit.
